Concept & Location

This town centre regeneration project involves the relocation of Asda to a new 82,000sqft foodstore, leading to the redevelopment of their former store. The regeneration of surrounding land will lead to a total of 180,000sqft of top quality retail units, 63 apartments and improved civic amenities. Working in conjunction with Wansbeck Council and Asda, a planning application has been submitted and is due to be heard in September 2008.

Accommodation

Phase 1 comprises up to 65,000sqft of open A1 non food retail with individual units from 5000sqft upwards to suit retailer requirements.
