100 George Street is a contemporary designed new landmark office development which is set to provide a striking addition to Croydon's skyline and help galvanise the city's continued growth as on eof the UK's major centres for business commerce.

Location

The site is located opposite East Croydon mainline rail station with ecellent communication links to central London and the South East.

Concept

Situated on the former site of Essex House, the Sheppard Robson designed building is based on a quad sided spiral concept with a vertical patterned glazing scheme that leads to a totally unique and arresting prospect.

Accommodation

Rising 17 storeys high, the building offers 258,000 sq.ft of Grade A office accommodation with typical column free floorplates in the order of 15,500 sq.ft and generous floor to ceiling heights. A ground floor retail unit will provide a further 2,000 sq.ft of accommodation and the scheme is designed to bring a vibrant new frontage to George Street.

Sustainability

Terrace Hill are committed to sustainable developments and accordingly have designed the building to achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating, whilst also meeting renewable energy targets.

The building will be air conditioned using Ground Source Heat Pump technology, absorption chillers and a CHP system.
