    Terrace Hill and joint venture partners Doughty Hanson are proposing to develop an 8 storey building, with 6 upper storeys for offices and two floors of high quality private residential apartments above. The scheme will also include an affordable housing block.

  • History

    The site was acquired in December 2006 and the existing building of 155,700 sq ft has been used by House of Fraser for part retail and part office for backroom staff associated with their Victoria Street store.

  • Strategy

    Terrace Hill will redevelop the site with a new building to provide Category A office space, quality residential units (private and affordable) and a retail element.

    Planning consent for the scheme has now been granted by Westinster City Council.

    The measures we will be undertaking to continue our policy towards sustainable development will include:

    • Communal residential heating/hot water
    • BREEAM and Eco Homes rating Very Good targeted
    • Passive solar shading
    • Low E glazing
